This Historic Home in Armonk, NY is a quintessential Westchester County Farmhouse, whose tired garden needed much enhancement. Existing rows of boxwood were revamped using cloud pruning to create aesthetically pleasing shapes within the beds. Swaths of native perennials and grasses planted en masse create movement & color through the boxwood. Wildflowers were interspersed providing waves of warm colors at the client’s request. Raised berms that morph the grade were added in the winding driveway to surprise visitors with new elements at every turn. The flow has been restored in this once rigid garden, now a place of movement and vibrancy.
